The National Further Education and Training (FET) Strategy

This new strategy announced by the Government of Ireland aims to repair, repurpose and revive the economy and communities over the course of the next five years.“Future FET: Transforming Learning” is an ambitious new strategy based around the three core pillars of building skills, fostering inclusion, and facilitating pathways.

The role of Further Education and Training is broad and multifaceted, and the strategy reflects this while also being both concise and specific about its core objectives and its proposed outcomes. The ambitious agenda set out in this new FET strategy for the period 2020-2024, as its title suggests, is aimed at Transforming Learning over the next 5 years.
