CampBus: an itinerant bus brings new technologies to Italian schools

A joint initiative promoted by the Italian Newspaper Corriere della Sera’s Technology section and a number of private companies, the municipality administrations of Naples, Florence and Milan, and the Politecnico of Milan, CampBus is an itinerant bus which will travel through Italy and stop at the participating schools and universities, to talk about new technologies with students of various ages.

Described as a “virtual tour” of new technologies and digital learning, the activities will take place from September 29 to October 29, and during the various stops the experts on board will talk with the students about Artificial Intelligence, 5G, Cloud technologies, Mixed Reality and Digital Education tools.

The activities will include interactive learning and co-creation workshops, from developing a mobile app to engaging in a new way of doing distance learning for schools, to a more critical analysis of news and media content, with well known journalists like Beppe Severgnini and Federico Cella, among others.
