The main objective of the European Biotech Week Essay Competition is to engage with European citizens, by raising awareness and making biotech accessible to local communities, and by showing concrete examples to explain how biotech surrounds and supports us in everyday life, also in light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic.

The Essay Competition is open to all students and young graduates  who are EU citizens (or permanent EU residents) up to the age of 35, and who are enrolled in a recognised EU University by the close of applications. Please make sure to read carefully the Terms & Conditions, and to use the proper EuropaBio Essay Template for the submission.
