High Performance Computing in the Cloud

High Performance Computing in the Cloud targets learners with some background knowledge of high performance computing (HPC) and an understanding of cloud computing. The course targets students in academic fields related to the information technology (IT) sector and those with more advanced digital skills.

The course covers a variety of topics at the intersection of cloud computing and HPC technology, including: the main types of activities, deployed by professionals in the area, merging of design spaces, evolution of the cloud and data space, as well as the challenges of supporting HPC hardware in the cloud. 

Course topics are split over 6 weeks, with an average of 6 hours weekly study.
