Purpose
The Human Resources Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA) provides free training programmes to acquire new and up-date existing digital skills for all. By supporting Cyprus’ human resources, the High Representative provides the tools to respond effectively to the demands and trends of the modern labour market and to its future needs, in particular those resulting from the digital transition.
Under the project ‘Training programmes for digital skills’, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility – NextGenerationEU through the Cyprus Recovery and Resilience Plan, training programmes are provided using face-to-face education in all provinces of Cyprus, but also through distance e-learning:
Digital skills trainings offer an opportunity for every citizen to equip themselves with the necessary knowledge and skills required in the modern digital society. It is worth noting that in addition to those employed in the private sector and the unemployed, for the first time self-employed and public sector employees are given the opportunity to participate free of charge in training programmes of the HRDA.
In addition, tailor-made training programmes are offered in which only unemployed persons who are registered with the Public Employment Service (PES) register are offered, for which training, travel and other allowances are paid.
More information can be obtained from the HRDA website at www.anad.org.cy or contact HRDA Public Service Office on 22390300.
