IoT Security and Privacy MOOC
This massive open online course (MOOC) is created by the University of Cyprus and funded through the European Union. The aim of the course is to equip learners with an understanding of the security and privacy challenges, which exist in an interconnected world.
Another objective of this free online course is to provide participants with a sense of awareness of the most common risks faced by IoT (Internet of Things) ecosystems. The MOOC provides an overview of secure networks: their essential elements, and common measures taken to protect personal and private data online. The course also explores different security breaches in the context of IoT and discover techniques to avoid them, as well as potential solutions tailored to a particular situation.
Through various quizzes embedded in the MOOC, IoT Security and Privacy also allows for self-assessment and self-reflection. The only prerequisites to take the course are: basic knowledge of computer science concepts, and basic understanding of computer network.
