The lives of children largely take place online. However, children are barely aware of the online dangers. They share personal data daily but are hardly prepared to handle it responsibly. In fact, they sleep with their digital windows and doors wide open. There are few games worldwide that teach children how to protect themselves against cybercrime. HackShield Future Cyber Heroes is changing this. HackShield wants knowledge to be freely available for everyone and for learning to be as enjoyable as playing a video game.
HackShield uses gamification to teach digital safety in an engaging way. Through interactive missions, games, and challenges, children learn to recognise online risks, create strong passwords, detect phishing, and protect their privacy. Our goal is to empower the younger generation to become proactive “Junior Cyber Agents” who help safeguard not only themselves, but also their families and communities.
We work closely with educators, universities, law enforcement and public organisations, and the platform is freely available to both children and schools. No advertising. No data exploitation. Our business model is based on support from the public and private sector.
