About

In today’s world, digital transformation impacts the way we live, work and learn. This technological progress brings about undeniable benefits, but also makes it increasingly more difficult to keep up with the latest tech solutions. Consequently, our skills and knowledge become outdated at a faster pace, creating a growing gap between our capacities and the market needs.

The Digital Skills and Jobs Platform is addressing this problem. It helps Europeans to advance their digital skills and knowledge, further their careers and add value to their organisations.

The Platform provides open access to a wide variety of high-quality information and resources for everyone interested in the broad topic of digital skills and jobs. Its smart search and filtering functions help you easily find what you need and connect with whom you need. With relevant, up-to-date content and dynamic, collaborative spaces, the platform caters to the needs of all users independently of their level of expertise. It also enables the Digital Skills and Jobs Community to grow and thrive together.

In this section, you will find out more about the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform as well as learn about the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition, which drives the EU’s digital skills agenda across the continent. We also encourage you to visit the National Coalitions pages to discover how the work on digital skills and jobs is being implemented in your home country.

National coalitions play a key role in fostering digital skills, not only at national but also at European level. They are among the key content providers of the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform. They share key information about national digital skills policies and initiatives, best practices in digital skills area, as well as training opportunities, events and digital skills resources.

Currently there are National Coalitions established in 25 EU Member States. 21 National Coalitions have their website connected to the Platform, with others following suit. Visit our dedicated page to discover more about their role in the Platform and in helping the EU achieve the objectives set out by the Digital Decade.

You will find important information about actions to boost advanced digital skills in our Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) dedicated page. The programme provides strategic funding to address the challenges of digital transformation and the development of a skilled talent pool of digital experts. Find out more about how the DIGITAL programme is investing in the creation of new learning and training opportunities in key technological areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Data, Cybersecurity, Quantum and High-Performance Computing.

Browse through the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform, actively explore its resources and benefit from all the opportunities it has to offer.
