The Ministry of Labour in Luxembourg (Ministère du Travail) manages employment policies, labour laws, industrial relations, and the social and solidarity economy. 
 
Key Remits and Functions:
  • Labour Law & Industrial Relations: Formulates and drafts legislative texts, updates the Labour Code, and manages relations with trade unions and employer organizations.
  • Employment Policies: Coordinates strategic goals aimed at job creation, continuous vocational training, and mitigating unemployment.
  • Social and Solidarity Economy: Promotes a ministerial-led focus on cooperative businesses, non-profits, and socially conscious enterprises.

The Ministry defines the strategic goals within these fields and coordinates their implementation.

The following three administrations fall under the remit of the Ministry: the National Employment Agency, the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines, and the Labour College.
