Digital Optur

Denmark is one of the world's most digitalised countries, but more than 1 million Danes can still feel limited in their digital activities. The complexity increases and we risk that citizens and workers feel alienated from organisations they work/interact with. Digitalisation comes with a responsibility both in the workplace, in everyday life and in our encounter with society.

Mission

Competences such as cybersecurity, being able to use digital tools more effectively and understanding artificial intelligence are essential both for people and workplaces that need to grow with digitalisation. 

Digital Optur works to ensure that everyone in Denmark can participate on their own terms and acquire the digital skills they need, so that challenges are turned into opportunities, nervousness into curiosity and downturns into digital ups. So that everyone, regardless of background and digital starting point, feels safe in using digital tools. 

Digital Optur offering

Digital Optur offers two services that can stand alone or complement each other:

• Digital competence boost, focuses on strengthening people's digital skills and security in everyday life. Here, participants get concrete tools for navigating digital solutions and workflows within artificial intelligence, digital self-defense and digital job search for unemployed.
• Digital Optur's second offer focuses on ensuring that the effort lives on. Here, ambassadors in the organization are trained to be able to create digital competence boost and support a healthy digital culture.

Mobile workshops

In April, May and June 2025, Digital Optur visited local areas and workplaces in 18 cities from Hillerød to Aalborg with a mobile learning space – a truck filled with digital curiosity. Their 138 workshops and activities helped 2,500+ Danes strengthen their digital skills.

Digital Optur app

The Digital Optur app provides practical knowledge and concrete tools that make it easier to navigate the digital work life. Here you can learn at your own pace. The app, with 5000+ downloads on the google play store, can both reach out wider, as well as making sure that the learning can continue after a workshop. 

Greater cooperation

Digital Optur is a collaborative project, created by Dansk Erhverv and supported by TrygFonden, with KPI Communications as the driving forces behind the project's development and implementation. The partner group consists of knowledge organisations, workers' organisations and other actors who are passionate about promoting digital inclusion in the labour market by working with municipalities and job centres, companies, educational institutions and professional organisations, associations and others.
