5 years of DSJP: DEP projects building a connected skills ecosystem

The Digital Skills and Jobs Platform (DSJP) was launched five years ago with the goal to become a central hub for Europe’s digital transformation: facilitating collaboration, visibility, and impact across the continent. 

This anniversary is a celebration for the organisations, educators, and professionals who have used DSJP to connect and share their work. In this article we will hear testimonials from four of the many projects funded under the Digital Europe Programme (DEP) that are integral to the DSJP’s success. 

Digital4Business: breaking down borders in digital education

Borders fade on DSJP. We connected with kindred organisations and built digital skills that move Europe forward.

MERIT: empowering professionals with future-ready skills

"Through DSJP, our short-term course gained visibility among a diverse European audience of learners, educators, and organisations. The platform enabled us to connect with new partners and participants beyond Latvia, strengthening cross-border collaboration. This exposure has helped position MERIT as a contributor to the European digital skills ecosystem.

SUSA: bridging digital health data and skills

DSJP helps our project connect digital health skills across Europe, supporting accessible, cross-border education and workforce development.

"The DSJP has increased SUSA’s visibility by showcasing training offers such as the Generative AI Essentials for Healthcare Professionals course. Publishing these programmes has enabled SUSA to reach a broader European audience, connect with stakeholders and National Coalitions, and support early engagement with learners and professionals across countries.

As digital skills challenges become more complex and cross-sectoral, projects like SUSA benefit from being part of a connected European ecosystem. Platforms like DSJP enable visibility, alignment and collaboration across countries, helping to reduce fragmentation, scale training solutions and ensure that skills development keeps pace with Europe’s digital and healthcare transformation."

UPRAISE: building a skills ecosystem for virtual worlds

Cooperation is essential to support mobility, skills recognition and the achievement of Europe's Digital Decade ambitions.

"As UPRAISE is currently in its first year, we are only beginning to engage with the DSJP. While it is still too early to report measurable impacts, DSJP is already providing an important channel to increase the visibility of our initiative across Europe. By sharing information about our objectives, activities, events and upcoming educational opportunities, we expect to connect with stakeholders from higher education, industry and innovation ecosystems, helping us build collaborations and extend the reach of the Advanced Digital Skills ecosystem that UPRAISE aims to develop.
