Industry- Academia Network: Partnership highlight between Stormshield and CS VISOR Cyber Security

On January 7, 2026, Stormshield and CS Visor have signed a partnership under the Industry-Academia Network of the Cybersecurity Skills Academy, joining efforts to strengthen the cybersecurity skills and talent gap in Europe.

Sealing a partnership under the Industry-Academia Network of the Cybersecurity Skills Academy, CS Visor will provide Stormshield cybersecurity training and certification to its students, integrating Stormshield’s trusted European technologies into their specialised academic curricula.

Additionally, this collaboration will facilitate "Train-the-Trainer" sessions to ensure academic staff are equipped to teach perimeter security and industrial network protection using sovereign solutions. To ensure long-term skill acquisition and professional success, the partnership includes a personalised follow-up by CS VISOR every six months, providing continuous guidance to the teachers as they progress through the Stormshield Academy curriculum.

This partnership will further support the implementation of the pledge made by Stormshield to increase the availability of cybersecurity skills in Europe by providing free access to educational resources and professional-grade security software to higher education institutions.

Description:  

The partnership focuses on integrating Stormshield’s Academy program into CS VISOR’s cybersecurity immersion framework. Students gain hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewalls and industrial security environments while combining theoretical knowledge with operational SOC exposure. The partnership supports the development of cybersecurity talent and skills needed to implement the NIS2 directive and the Cyber Resilience Act by training specialists capable of deploying and maintaining certified security solutions for organisations and critical entities and critical entities.
