In general, technologies have been designed by and for men and, in some cases, replicate the prejudices and inequalities found in society This phenomenon becomes increasingly apparent as our dependence on technology grows in our everyday routines. In this program, organised by UAL Creative Computing Institute and Feminist Internet and provided by Future Learn, you will delve into the historical influence of gender on technology and understand how technological advancements can perpetuate gender disparities.

Tech products, services, and systems face problems at every step, and there are big differences in how men and women experience the tech industry. This course helps you look closely at tech processes and figure out how to make them better by including everyone and will provide you the tools to support gender-inclusive technologies in your own workplace.
