A digital world without fear: Digital Literacy Course for Seniors

Help seniors gain more confidence in the use of modern technologies. PECKA's practical eight-hour Digital World Without Fear course focuses on everyday situations – from working with a smartphone and tablet, through online communication, to the safe use of internet banking or state digital services. The course takes place at a calm pace, in a comprehensible form and offers plenty of space for questions and practical practice on your own device.

Participants will learn:

• safely use your phone, tablet or computer,
• be familiar with the state's online services (e.g. Citizen's Portal or data box),
• safe use of internet banking;
• Detect fraudulent emails, SMS messages and other cyber threats
• protect your personal data and digital identity.

The course is designed primarily for municipalities, libraries, community centres, homes for the elderly or other organisations that want to promote the digital inclusion of older citizens. The lecturer comes directly to the participants and adapts the content to their experience and needs.
