Offensive Security: Applications and Systems - SPECTRO

The 'Offensive Security: Applications and Systems' course is taught by Florian Hahn (University of Twente). After this short course, you will have a fundamental understanding of different aspects of offensive security on system security and (web) application security. The course content is inspired by CTFs (capture the flag) – a type of cybersecurity competitions where participants compete to solve challenges and puzzles related to computer security.
Following the theme of CTFs, the areas covered in this course are:
- OSINT
- Web exploitation
- Reverse engineering
Course content
The course contains 8 quizzes and 13 lessons split into four sections:
- Welcome and content
- Open source intelligence
- Web Security
- Reverse engineering
For the best experience of the course, it is recommended to enroll at the CTF platform hosted by the University of Twente and solving the challenges there.
