AD ELO, based in Portugal, is a private non profitable association that since its creation. Over its 28 years of existence it developed countless initiatives such as gathering technical and financial resources in support of companies and economic/social agents; increasing citizens qualifications and training; encouraging social intervention and innovation (with child, unemployed, seniors); fostering the protection and recovery of local heritage; and promoting local products, with the purpose of contributing for the integrated development of the Cantanhede, Figueira da Foz, Mealhada, Mira, Montemor-o-Velho and Penacova municipalities. For this reason, AD ELO has a close cooperation with municipalities, public and private companies/institutions, community center, cultural center, care homes, universities or research centers. AD ELO is developing different projects that approaches rural development, social innovation and the twin digital and green transition. Within the scope of its activities, it promotes local development seeking to project and strengthen the identity of the region in order to make its area of intervention more attractive, both in terms of population settlement, with the improvement of quality of life, as well as strengthening local economic capacity. Within the scope of its activities, AD ELO also seeks to promote the region and enhance endogenous resources. Its main activities are interconnected with the implementation and development of community projects that foster rural development, where AD ELO's responsibility for the management of DLBC Rural LEADER AD ELO and DLBC Costeiro Mondego Mar stands out
