CYBERSKILLS project

Project Summary

CYBERSKILLS is an Erasmus+ co-funded project designed to address the growing demand for qualified cybersecurity professionals across Europe. The project will train at least 300 young people aged 18 to 30, particularly from peripheral and underrepresented regions, enhancing their cybersecurity competences and facilitating their access to the labour market. At the same time, the initiative promotes cooperation between vocational education providers, technology companies and other key stakeholders, while fostering inclusion, labour mobility and youth employability.

The project will implement five key activities: outreach and recruitment of participants through educational institutions; assessment of cybersecurity competences and development of a tailored curriculum; design of a comprehensive training programme through the creation of an e-learning platform incorporating a cybersecurity serious game; pilot testing; and the standardisation of a certification framework. The programme will also include in-person practical workshops and data collection to evaluate its impact on employability.

The main project results will include a fully operational e-learning platform, an interactive cybersecurity serious game, detailed evaluation reports and updated curricula, and a robust certification system. In addition, CYBERSKILLS will generate long-term impact by improving cybersecurity skills among young people, strengthening collaboration between industry and education, enhancing youth employability, and establishing a sustainable and replicable training model.
