Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) established in the European Union can join a free, live webinar on cyber hygiene on Thursday 26 November 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 CET. Mastercard runs the one-hour session on Zoom, in English, as part of its pledge to the Cybersecurity Skills Academy. The webinar is for the person who looks after IT or digital risks in the company, one per company; no security expertise is needed. It covers spotting common scams, passwords and multi-factor authentication, updates and backups, and whom to contact when something goes wrong. Participants take away a practical action sheet. “Cybercriminals often target small businesses that don’t have dedicated security teams. In our free webinar, Mastercard security experts show SMEs how a few simple steps, from stronger passwords and regular updates to backups and safer email, can make a real difference.” - Sonia Neffati, Chief Security Officer, Mastercard Europe Registration is through an online form, with a company email address; places are confirmed after an eligibility check. The session is recorded, and an approved replay is available to approved participants for 30 days. There is no marketing or sales follow-up.
