The BCO Support Facility powers Europe’s digital future by helping national and regional public authorities deploy fast, inclusive broadband. Through experts' advice, best practices sharing, and upskilling/reskilling support, it bridges the digital divide turning connectivity into opportunity and enhancing innovation and growth across communities.
Broadband Competence Offices (BCOs) are the national and regional public authorities in EU Member States, Norway and the Wester Balkans that are in charge of broadband deployment. Their aim is help ensure that everyone has access to high-speed broadband, whether they live in an urban, rural or remote area, so that everyone can benefit equally from the opportunities digital connectivity brings, for health, education, business and more. The Broadband Competence Offices Support Facility (BCO-SF) is a flagship EU-funded initiative that accelerates the deployment and uptake of high-speed broadband across Europe, supporting Member States, regions, plus the Western Balkans, and Norway in achieving the EU’s Digital Decade objectives.
