Bitkom e.V.

Bitkom e.V. is an association of the digital economy in Germany. It pursues the goal of strengthening Germany as a digital location, advancing the digital transformation in business and administration, expanding digital sovereignty and enabling broad social participation in digital developments.

As a digital association and European think tank, bitkom connects the digital economy with politics, the media, science and society. The association counts more than 2,200 member companies, including more than 1,300 small and medium-sized companies, around 750 tech start-ups, half of the DAX-40 companies and other internationally active companies. Together, they develop positions and recommendations for action for politics and business.
