Bitkom e.V.

Bitkom e.V. is an association for the digital economy in Germany. Its goal is to strengthen Germany as a digital location, advance the digital transformation in business and administration, expand digital sovereignty, and enable broad social participation in digital developments.

As an association for the digital economy and a European think tank, Bitkom connects the digital economy with politics, media, science, and society. The association has over 2,200 member companies, including more than 1,300 small and medium-sized enterprises, around 750 tech start-ups, half of the DAX 40 companies, and other internationally active companies. Together, they develop positions and recommendations for action for politics and business.
