CADMUS aims to tackle the shortage of cybersecurity expertise in Europe through targeted training opportunities based on approaches such as cyber range projects, games, hackathons, bootcamps and traineeships. The goal of these activities is to upskill educators, trainers, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-up employees, civil servants and graduate students, interested in embarking onto a career in the cybersecurity field. To achieve this, the CADMUS project will capitalise on lessons learned from existing initiatives and cybersecurity training offers to build upon, and develop enhanced training curricula, grounded in the successful integration of proven training models and standards. CADMUS started in December 2024 and runs for a period of 36 months, until November 2027.
