The Competence Center Technology Diversity Equal Opportunities e.V. (kompetenzz) is Germany's largest network on the topics of technology, diversity and equal opportunities. For over 25 years, the Centre has been promoting equal opportunities for women and men throughout Germany. Its mission is ensuring that diversity is lived as a principle of success in business, science, administration and society. To achieve its objectives, the Centre combines evidence-based expertise with a strong network and translate technical knowledge into concrete measures.

Digital participation remains a central field of action in the work of the Competence Centre. With projects such as Girls’ Day – Girls’ Future Day, the Cliché-Free initiative, the meta-project Innovative Women in Focus (meta IFiF), the FEMTEC career support programme and the Tech2Stay research project, the Centre aims to break barriers to access, make role models more visible and empower women to embark on digital professions and training pathways.
