The Directorate for Digital Society, Trust and Cybersecurity the Directorate‑General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT.H) leads the implementation of the Cybersecurity Skills Academy, an initiative to narrow the cybersecurity talent gap in the European Union. DG CNECT-H oversees cybersecurity matters, including technology, related capacity-building and policy, inter-institutional cyber crisis coordination, as well as digital identity and trust. 

DG CNECT in the European Commission works on shaping Europe's digital present and future. This includes supporting, funding and regulating digital and frontier technologies to strengthen EU democracy and make Europe safer, more competitive and technologically sovereign. DG CNECT also enforces the European rulebook on online platforms, digital markets and artificial intelligence (AI).
