European University Institute

The European University Institute (EUI) is an international postgraduate and post-doctoral teaching and research institute established by European Union Member States in 1972 and located in Florence, Italy. Today, the aim of EUI as an international organisation is to support the cultural and scientific development of social and political sciences on a European level. It also promotes cultural exchange amongst Member States and offers a variety of programmes, as well as fellowships by pooling EU with country funding.
