Global Libraries Bulgaria Foundation (GLBF)

The Global Libraries Bulgaria Foundation (GLBF), Bulgaria, is a non-profit legal entity, whose partners are governmental and non-governmental organisations: Ministry of Culture, National Association of Municipalities, Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, National Endowment Fund 13 centuries of Bulgaria, Bulgarian Association for Libraries and Information, National Union of Community Centers.

GLBF's mission is to encourage the accession of Bulgarian citizens to the global information society to improve their quality of life and to stimulate active participation. GLBF works in close collaboration with 980 public libraries in Bulgaria and has a network of thirty-nine training centres throughout the country.
