GreenChips-EDU tackles Europe’s microelectronics skills gap by training engineers in sustainable semiconductor design. In line with the EU Chips Act and the goal of reaching 20% global chip production by 2030, the project promotes eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient technologies, and green innovation. By linking microelectronics education with sustainability and the energy transition, GreenChips-EDU prepares a new generation of engineers to drive Europe’s green and circular economy.
