IT Professionalism Europe (ITPE) Created byMatteo Mirigliano|Updated29 July 2021IT Professionalism Europe (ITPE) is a network of stakeholders committed to the advancement of IT professionalism. It is an initiative of CEPIS – Council of European Professional Informatics Societies and ICDL Foundation. The network includes public and private sector experts from critical IT domains, including policy, standards, HR and IT management, as well as education, training and other service providers that support IT professionalism. The network work closely with key public actors, from the European Commission, the European Parliament, European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and National Standards Bodies.ITPE will build support by providing a robust platform which raises the status of the IT profession, and by 2025, ITPE will be the primary forum for collaboration and discussion among stakeholders in IT professionalism, with support from all sectors and all European countries. ITPE has set up expert groups on Digital Competence and Professional Ethics, each held twice a year, which provides regular networking opportunities and possibilities to exchange best practice for our members.
