Digital Skills and Jobs Platform
the Körber Foundation

The Körber Foundation is a non-profit foundation founded in 1959 by the entrepreneur Kurt A. Körber. Their operational work is divided into seven thematic areas: ‘Age and Demography’, ‘Education’, ‘Democracy and Cohesion’, ‘History and Politics’, ‘International Politics’, ‘Culture’ and ‘Science’.

With its own projects and events, the foundation is active at the locations of Hamburg's HafenCity, Bergedorf and Berlin and is involved both on a national and international level.

The foundation is one of the so-called corporate investment foundations. She is the sole shareholder of Körber AG, the strategic holding company of the Körber Group. From this participation, it receives an annual dividend, which is used entirely for charitable purposes.
