Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service of Spain

The Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service of Spain (Ministerio para la Transformación Digital y de la Función Pública) is responsible for developing and implementing government policy on telecommunications, digital transformation, the information society, and the promotion of artificial intelligence. It also oversees public administration, the civil service, and public governance, supporting a modern and efficient public sector.

The Ministry operates under the authority of the Minister through several key bodies. The Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence leads digital and AI policy, supported by directorates responsible for digitalisation, data, and advanced digital technologies. The*Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures is responsible for telecommunications and audiovisual services policy.
