Ministry of the Economy Belgium (FPS Economy)

The Federal Ministry for the Economy in Belgium was established following a Royal Order in February 2022, as part of ongoing efforts to modernise federal administration. FPS Economy is responsible for managing taxation and the overall finances of the Belgian state. 

The FPS Economy is dedicated to laying down the foundations of an efficient, competitive and sustainable economy, which support growth. Its economic policy takes into account the institutional, European and international contexts. At the heart of this approach are consumer and business protection, with a special focus on SMEs.
