Ministry for Education and Employment of Malta

The objective of the Ministry for Education and Employment is to provide the necessary grounds for skills and talents of current and future generations with a focus on citizenship and employability, in the 21^st century and beyond. The Maltese Ministry support citizens in developing personal and social potential and acquiring the appropriate level of knowledge, key skills, and competences through a value-oriented formation including equity, social justice, diversity and inclusivity. Core functions include: ensuring equal opportunities and quality education for all, supporting the establishment and continuous development of an education system to provide each person with lifelong skills and competences, increasing the availability of higher education and training opportunities to support career development, and the formulation and implementation of effective policies in the area of education and employment, working closely with stakeholders in the field.
