National Agency for Education for Europe at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (NA at BIBB)

The National Agency for Education for Europe at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (NA at BIBB) has existed since 2000 and works on behalf of and with financial support from the Federal Ministry of Education, Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ). It is one of the National Agencies responsible for the European programme Erasmus+ for Education, Training, Youth and Sport (2022-2027) in Germany. In this capacity, the NA at BIBB is responsible for the implementation of the programme in the areas of vocational education and training and adult education. In addition, it carries out numerous European and international tasks in the field of vocational and adult education.

The NA at BIBB is based at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB). It works closely with ministries, federal states, social partners, associations, chambers, companies, universities and educational institutions. At international level, it cooperates with the European Commission and the National Agencies in Europe.
