Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE) Created byGalina MISHEVA|Updated07 September 2022Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE) is established as an international not-for-profit association with its seat in Brussels. PRACE brings together 26 member countries and their representative organisations, who join efforts in creating a sustainable and forward-looking high performance computing (HPC) environment in Europe. The organisation aims to enable high-impact scientific discovery and engineering research and development across disciplines and sectors, and provide support to businesses and researchers in the field. In addition, initiatives and projects launched by PRACE also aim to improve overall energy efficiency when it comes to computing systems and their environmental impact. The pan-European supercomputing infrastructure offers access to computing and data management resources, as well as a variety of services to support the development of professionals in the field, including training opportunities and other peer-reviewed material.
