Partnerships for a new Master's in Cybersecurity Applied to Industrial Environments

The University of Girona (UdG) (in Catalan: Universitat de Girona) is a public university located in Girona, Catalonia (Spain). It was officially recognized as a university in 1997, resulting from the merger of several university study centers in Girona that were previously affiliated with other universities. However, its origins trace back to the General Study, an institution established in 1446 by Alfonso the Magnanimous.

The university comprises five campuses, with the most significant being the Montilivi campus and the Old Town campus, in addition to the Science and Technology Park. In 2009, it had an enrollment of 12,977 students and a faculty of 1,200 professors.

UdG is part of a strategic alliance with the University of the Balearic Islands, the University of Perpignan, Pierre and Marie Curie University, and the University of Lleida, forming the "Center for Research and Higher Education-Pyrenees Mediterranean." Additionally, together with the University of the Balearic Islands, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), and the Catalan Institute for Water Research, it promotes the Euro-Mediterranean Campus of Tourism and Water (e-MTA), which was awarded the distinction of International Campus of Excellence in 2011.
