Digital4Security is a pioneering pan-European master's programme in cybersecurity management and data sovereignty. This €20 million industry-led initiative, supported by the DIGITAL Europe Programme, aims to equip European SMEs and companies with comprehensive knowledge in cybersecurity management, regulatory frameworks, and technical skills. By addressing the critical cybersecurity skills gap, Digital4Security seeks to safeguard European industries from cyber attacks, thereby protecting economic prosperity and supporting long-term competitiveness and growth.
Activities
Digital4Security focuses on developing an industry-led master's programme that blends academic excellence with practical insights, ensuring graduates gain both theoretical knowledge and job-ready cyber skills. It also supports reskilling and upskilling initiatives, targeting graduates, professionals, managers, and business leaders to become 'cyber confident' and capable of protecting European SMEs against global cyber threats. Additionally, the programme offers micro-credentials for each module and industry certifications through partnerships with leading cybersecurity firms, enhancing the employability of graduates. To ensure the curriculum aligns with industry needs, Digital4Security engages stakeholders through collaborative workshops and surveys that guide the programme's development.
Target group
Digital4Security is designed for a diverse audience, including recent graduates seeking to enter the cybersecurity field, current professionals aiming to enhance their expertise, managers and business leaders responsible for overseeing cybersecurity measures within their organisations, and European SMEs looking to bolster their digital security capabilities.
Partners
The initiative is a collaboration of 34 partners from 14 countries, including industry leaders, academic institutions, training and recruitment centres, and marketing agencies. This extensive consortium underscores the collective commitment to fortifying Europe's digital spaces.
