The training includes basic interpersonal skills and etiquette to interact with trained people; basic understanding of data and its relevance for work; knowledge of visual data output for decision and interaction and basic knowledge of ICT for interacting with PCs and machines. Training is based on downloadable videos and pdfs with a final questionnaire to assess knowledge gained; raising awareness among citizens of Industry 4.0 opportunities. BackgroundThe company promotes initiatives supporting knowledge transfer and technological shifts across all agents that can profit from the improvement of digital competences within the Piedmont Industry Strategy 4.0 and in synergy with the EU objectives of economic and social development. In most Italian and European regions, there exists a mismatch between the skill sets job applicants have and the skill sets they are expected to possess. In the scenario where Industry 4.0 technologies have been widely adopted, this demand-supply gap will widen even further if necessary actions are not taken. Specifically, the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition is supported by promoting knowledge of the skills and awareness of the needs for Industry 4.0 within the region through dissemination activities and by developing and delivering training programmes based on self-diagnosis and digital activities.Pledge duration10/09/2021 - 06/03/2025 Share this page
