Call for applications for the assignment of 6 scholarships for the enrolment in the Joint Master’s Degree in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence

The Joint Master’s Degree in International Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence (MICAC) is a two-year postgraduate programme offered jointly by the Arqus European University Alliance (including University of Padua, Vilnius University, University of Granada, University of Minho). It trains students in advanced cybersecurity and cyberintelligence topics with mandatory mobility across partner universities and is delivered entirely in English.

The Joint Master’s Degree covers different areas in the field, such as: 

• Fundamentals on international cybersecurity
• International management of cybersecurity
• Cyberprotection systems
• Secure software development
• Law and data
• Cyberwarfare

Target Groups

The programme is open to international applicants who hold, or are about to hold a bachelor’s degree of at least 180 ECTS in Information Technology. Applicants with bachelor’s degrees in other fields may also apply, provided they can demonstrate an adequate level of technological competence.

Eligibility Criteria

EU citizenship for 4 of the scholarships

• Citizenship of Digital Europe Programme (DEP) Associated Country for 2 of the scholarships
• Proven English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
• Hold (or be about to hold) a Bachelor’s degree of at least 180 ECTS in or equivalent in IT OR Demonstrable accredited technological competence.
• Admission to the Joint Master’s Degree

Funding

• Number of scholarships for EU students: 4
• Amount per EU scholarship: 8.800 EUR
• Number of scholarships for Non-EU (DEP) students: 2
• Amount per Non-EU scholarship: 12.200 EUR
