Call for Expression of Interest for EU Cybersecurity Experts

The European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) Call for Expression of Interest for Independent Cybersecurity Experts seeks experienced professionals to support the implementation of the Digital Europe Programme and Horizon Europe. Selected experts will contribute to the evaluation, monitoring, and review of cybersecurity projects and funding applications, supporting the European Union’s efforts to strengthen digital resilience, cybersecurity capacity, and technological sovereignty across Europe.

Eligibility Criteria

• At least 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity-related fields

• Strong written and spoken English language skills

• Applications from female cybersecurity professionals are strongly encouraged

Funding

• Remuneration for a full working day is set to 450 EUR

• The exact amount allocated to each expert will depend on the length and complexity of the assigned tasks

• Assignments are carried out on a contractual basis with a limited number of working days per assignment

After registration, applicants should share their expert number via email to evaluations@eccc.europa.eu

Timeline

The call for expression of interest remains permanently open throughout the duration of the EU Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2021–2027. However, applicants are encouraged to register by 15 June 2026 in view of upcoming calls for proposals and project review activities.
