Digital Skills and Jobs Platform: The National Coalitions for Digital Skills and Jobs Created byFilippo Romano|Updated09 April 2026ContextThis topic is part of the Digital Europe Programme call “Advanced Digital Skills” and aims to strengthen the governance and effectiveness of digital skills policies across Europe by supporting the expansion and coordination of National Coalitions for Digital Skills and Jobs. These coalitions act as key intermediaries between EU-level initiatives and national, regional, and local stakeholders (companies, SMEs, non-profit organisations and education providers), helping translate strategic objectives into concrete actions. The call contributes directly to reaching the Digital Decade targets, particularly increasing the number of digitally skilled citizens and ICT professionals, while addressing disparities between Member States. By enhancing national platforms, improving interoperability with the central Digital Skills and Jobs Platform, and fostering collaboration across ecosystems, the initiative seeks to create a more coherent, accessible, and inclusive digital skills landscape across Europe.ActivitiesApplicants must implement a coordination and support action that:Establishes new or expands existing National Coalitions and their websitesConnects national platforms to the EU-level Digital Skills and Jobs Platform - the main entry point for the Digital Skills in the EUProvides services such as training listings in advanced digital skills, funding opportunities, and interoperable digital skills resourcesPromotes good practices, events, and stakeholder engagementSupports interoperability, data exchange, skills intelligence, and community-building activities Demonstrate synergies with other active EU initiatives in the area of Digital Skills (ELEVATE, European Digital Innovation Hubs, Data Spaces for Skills or the Advanced Digital Skills Academies)Eligibility CriteriaThe proposal must be submitted by a consortium of at least 5 independent entities from 4 different eligible countriesAt least 4 (established) National Coalitions must be part of the consortium as applicantsApplicants must be established in Member States or DEP-Associated countries (see list -> list-3rd-country-participation_digital_en.pdf)FundingMaximum grant amount per project: 2 million EURTotal topic budget (EU contribution): 2 million EURFunding rate: 100%TimelineThe deadline to submit applications is set to 1 October 2026, 17:00 Brussels time.Opportunity DetailsWebsite linkDigital Skills and Jobs Platform: The National Coalitions for Digital Skills and JobsTarget audienceDigital skills for allDigital technology / specialisationDigital skillsDigital skill levelBasicIntermediateAdvancedDigital ExpertGeographic scope - CountryAustriaBelgiumBulgariaCyprusRomaniaSloveniaCroatiaCzech republicDenmarkEstoniaFinlandFranceGermanyGreeceHungaryItalyIrelandMaltaLatviaLithuaniaLuxembourgNetherlandsPortugalPolandSwedenSpainSlovakiaAlbaniaBosnia and HerzegovinaIcelandKosovoMontenegroNorth MacedoniaNorwaySerbiaSwitzerlandTurkeyUkraineShow moreShow lessIndustry - field of education and trainingGeneric programmes and qualifications not further definedGeographical sphereEU institutional initiativeForm of fundingGrant Share this page Log in to comment
