Digital Skills and Jobs Platform: The National Coalitions for Digital Skills and Jobs

Context

This topic is part of the Digital Europe Programme call “Advanced Digital Skills” and aims to strengthen the governance and effectiveness of digital skills policies across Europe by supporting the expansion and coordination of National Coalitions for Digital Skills and Jobs. These coalitions act as key intermediaries between EU-level initiatives and national, regional, and local stakeholders (companies, SMEs, non-profit organisations and education providers), helping translate strategic objectives into concrete actions. The call contributes directly to reaching the Digital Decade targets, particularly increasing the number of digitally skilled citizens and ICT professionals, while addressing disparities between Member States. By enhancing national platforms, improving interoperability with the central Digital Skills and Jobs Platform, and fostering collaboration across ecosystems, the initiative seeks to create a more coherent, accessible, and inclusive digital skills landscape across Europe.
