VIC FSTP - ISTEC Summer School Scholarships

This Open Call, organised within the framework of the Virtual Innovation Consortium and implemented by ISTEC – Instituto Superior de Tecnologias Avançadas de Lisboa, provides institutional scholarships for participation in the 2025–2026 edition of the VIC Summer School. The call aims to reduce financial barriers to participation and promote diversity, inclusion, and access to advanced digital skills education, particularly in the fields of immersive technologies and artificial intelligence. It further contributes to strengthening European capacities in Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Extended Reality (XR), and related digital innovation domains.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be admitted or eligible for admission to the programme covered by the call

• Individuals holding the nationality of EU Member States and countries associated to the Digital Europe Programme or

• Students from countries engaged in digital cooperation frameworks with the European Commission, including digital partnerships, TTCs, and related policy dialogues

Priority may be given to applicants who:

• Demonstrate financial need

• Belong to underrepresented groups

• Come from interdisciplinary or non-ICT backgrounds

• Contribute to diversity and inclusion objectives

Funding

• Total number of scholarships available: 10

• Financial support per scholarship 250 EUR

• Support is provided as a participation fee reduction or waiver
