Become an EU Code Week Ambassador and be part of the community. Do you want to inspire young people, encourage their interest in coding and help them discover the world of digital technologies? Join a vibrant community of people who are changing the way we learn about technology and building a bridge between education, innovation and the future of the labour market.

Roles and responsibilities

The Eu Code Week Ambassador should be able to set aside a few hours a week for the following activities:

connecting people, organisations and communities to support EU Code Week;
Encourage activity organisers to add their coding activities to the EU Code Week website;
Support the organization of new activities in Slovakia through the promotion of Code Week.
Replying to e-mails about Code Week
Check and approve activities on the Slovak website EU Code Week,
Participate in regular meetings to plan activities and discuss with Hub leaders;
Cooperate with national ambassadors from all over Europe and take part in meetings to discuss the development of the initiative;
Representing the country in the EU Code Week

Selection criteria

at least 18 years old;
Slovak or Czech citizenship,
Professional knowledge of English and Slovak or Czech to communicate effectively with a diverse audience.
Proven experience in education, coding and digital literacy;
Strong engagement in the local technology/educational community;
Strong communication and leadership skills;
passion for coding, digital literacy and promoting educational initiatives;
Willingness to devote time and effort;
a commitment to promote EU Code Week and to work with the national and international community (regional Hub, Edu coordinators, leading teachers, etc.)
clean criminal records (especially when working with minors)
No conflict of interest that could affect this role
