CRACoWi: a tool to quickly check compliance with the Cyber Resilience Act

The CRACoWi projectis a European initiative funded under the Digital Europa programme, which aims to help businesses understand and comply with the requirements of the new European cybersecurity legislation - the Cyber Resilience Act. The project develops digital tools and support services to help businesses, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises, to ensure the security of digital products and to comply with regulatory requirements.

One of the first deliverables of the project is the CRA Scope Check, an online tool that allows companies to quickly check whether their product or service falls under the scope of the Cyber Resilience Act.

What is CRA Scope Check?

CRA Scope Check is a free online quick self-assessment tool that helps companies determine whether their digital product is subject to the requirements of the new European cybersecurity regulation. The tool is based on a short set of questions about a product or service and gives the user within minutes a clear assessment of whether the product falls within the scope of the regulation or is outside its scope.

The tool is designed as a simple, user-friendly guide to help companies understand potential regulatory requirements at an early stage of product development. In this way, organisations can plan the necessary safety measures, documentation and compliance procedures in a timely manner.

Supporting businesses in understanding the new legislation
