Women role models in the digital economy award – 2026
Women role models in the digital economy award – 2026

The IVSZ Association of Digital Enterprises and the Women in Technology Hungary (WiTH) Association will continue to award exemplary women in the digital economy in 2026. The aim of the ‘Women role models in the digital economy’ competition is to introduce and recognise women professionals working in the digital economy who contribute directly to the development of technological and IT fields through their work.

With this award, we would like to draw attention to the fact that the digital economy offers open and real professional opportunities for all women. In many areas of the technology sector, the presence of female workers remains low, making role models visible strengthens encouraging patterns and contributes to a more diverse and inspiring digital environment.

Who can be nominated?

An important change compared to previous years' remuneration: There is no age limit, this year anyone can be nominated regardless of age.

We are primarily looking for candidates who are actively involved in the development, operation or strategic professional management of digital solutions in the course of their work, i.e. the candidate:

  • working in technology and IT (e.g. software development, data economy, cybersecurity, IT operation, digital transformation),
  • in his daily work, he has done a lot for the professional recognition of digitalisation, the IT, infocommunications and communications sectors,
  • performance as an outstanding manager or professional/employee,
  • Your innovative, inspiring attitude can serve as a role model for others.

Technological added value and direct professional contribution to the digital sector are key considerations when assessing nominations.

Who can nominate me?

Nominations may be submitted by a community or organisation, including, but not limited to, a business association/company, a professional organisation, a government office, a non-governmental organisation, an educational institution.

We look forward to nominations that are backed by an innovative, open-minded community that prides itself on its female colleagues or on the performance of women working as partners and clients, and is keen to set an example for strengthening organisational diversity.

An organisation may submit several nominations.

Deadline for nomination: 12 April We are waiting for nominations until 23:59 (Sunday).

Tenderers shall not be liable for any damage caused by applicants or winners to any third party in connection with the project or for any infringement committed against third parties.
