CO:RE - Education Toolkit

The CO:RE team at European Schoolnet has developed an Education Toolkit, a resource that is intended to help be up to date to key topics and current debates on children’s digital lives and online technologies.

The Toolkit is based upon findings from national consultations and co-creation workshops with educators and young people, and targets three main target groups: teachers, practitioners and policymakers.

How the Education Toolkit works?

The toolkit aims at bringing together updated, evidence-based and practical resources for education stakeholders while helping educators better understand, use, and find good research about children’s engagement with digital technologies. It is organised in three sections:

• Getting acquainted with research about children and digital technologies on online risks to children; youth digital skills; cyberbullying; digital technologies and adolescents' wellbeing; children data and privacy in the digital age; and digital technologies and adolescents' wellbeing
• Using research in education which provides educators and practitioners practical ideas to make their work more impactful using research (e.g. inform awareness-raising campaigns, to apply for funding, etc.).
• Staying up to date with information and tips on where to find the latest, good quality research, and a selection of good quality resources for teachers, practitioners and policymakers.
