Scanarix Media Game
Scanarix Media Game

The Scanarix Media Game is an educational tool that combines innovative methodology, narrative-based gameplay, and interactive design to strengthen digital and media literacy skills. It offers a flexible learning experience suitable for classrooms, workshops, and informal settings and it is available in both offline quest-based game with board elements and an online web-based interactive demo.

Designed for students above 10, educators, families, and lifelong learners, Scanarix uses scenario-driven challenges and collaborative tasks to foster critical thinking and confident engagement in digital spaces. Participants learn how to search for and verify information, assess the credibility of sources, analyse media content, and identify manipulation techniques such as disinformation or clickbait.

Through gameplay, users also develop an understanding of how media narratives shape perception, while building practical skills for safe and conscious interaction in digital environments. The game encourages teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, and supports multilingual, cross-cultural collaboration.

Currently available in English, Ukrainian, and Greek, Scanarix is designed to be inclusive and accessible, with additional languages in development.
