AI in Manufacturing (MADE) - REBOOT

The course aims to provide a clear understanding of the key concepts of artificial intelligence and its applications in the manufacturing sector, analysing techniques, challenges and opportunities. It also presents key industry figures to support the strategic adoption of AI in production processes.

About this course 

The course takes participants through a range of essential concepts in AI in manufacturing, presenting real-world use cases and applications. Over the course of the day, students will learn: 

• What is artificial intelligence and how can it be useful in manufacturing companies
• How design is changing thanks to the use of AI to create innovative solutions.
• How to improve documents and communication by automating processes and interactions.
• How to prevent failures by using AI to anticipate problems and optimise maintenance
• Techniques for controlling product quality more accurately and quickly with the help of AI.

Course structure

The course is split in 5 different modules of 6 hours each: 

• Module 1 – Introduction to AI;
• Module 2 – Predictive Maintenance;
• Module 3 – Generative Design;
• Module 4 – Document Digitisation and Interaction with Third Parties;
• Module 5 – Computer Vision.
