The Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup Guide is an essential training designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and practical skills needed to secure digital identities by implementing MFA across various platforms. The course is part of the Cyrus project funded under the DIGITAL Europe Programme of the European Union which aims to propose a novel training programme to develop a cybersecurity innovation DNA and support companies in transport and manufacturing to respond to and mitigate cyber threats and attack.

About the course

Participants will learn the core concepts of MFA, why it is crucial in today’s threat landscape, and how to configure different MFA methods such as OTP-based apps, push notifications, biometric authentication, hardware security keys, and adaptive or passwordless solutions. Real-world use cases spanning industries like banking, healthcare, education, government, and cloud services are explored to demonstrate the practical value of MFA in preventing unauthorized access and phishing attacks.
