This Master in Finance and Fintech is offered by the Bologna Business School, established by the University of Bologna. The digital transformation is disrupting and changing the financial market requiring professionals to have a new skillset to respond it.

The programme aims to equip students with a combination of traditional financial skills and a deep understanding of new digital technologies such blockchain, artificial intelligence and big data analytics. Graduates of this programme will act as the bridge between management and computer scientists leading to the development of new digital financial businesses.

The degree is designed to bridge the latest technological innovations with practical financial expertise. The Master’s programme is run in collaboration with the Department of Management (DISA) at the University of Bologna and Bologna Business School.

Taught in English, full-time 12 months, the program includes an internship with partner companies and boasts a placement rate of over 90% six months after the end of the course. Requirements

The Master is aimed at young graduates with a strong command of English and a keen interest in finance, data analysis, and digital technologies. The program is designed for those who aspire to enter the digital finance world equipped with advanced skills to innovate financial market operations, support startups, and contribute to the development of new digital strategies in highly complex environments.

This programme is designed for graduate students with an excellent knowledge of English as the programme is fully taught in English. Additionally, students must have a strong interest in the financial technology ("fintech"). This one-year programme has two classroom-based terms and concludes with a 500-hour internship. The internship can be carried at various companies and agencies in Italy or abroad.
