Digital Skills: User Experience

Digital Skills: User Experience

User experience design, known as UX, makes a huge difference to whether a digital product or project succeeds. On Digital Skills: User Experience, a three-week course from Accenture, you’ll learn what UX is and why it’s so important. You’ll learn the basics of UX design and what good usability means to both designers and users.

What is a UX designer?

You’ll begin the course examining what user experience means and how it’s integral to creating high-quality products. You’ll then investigate a day in the life of a junior UX designer, giving you useful insights into the expectations of the role. With this knowledge, you’ll be able to assess your suitability for a career in UX and identify any skill gaps you may need to develop further.

Build your digital skill set

Using videos, quizzes, and interactive discussions, you’ll learn the value of user research in the design phase and explore techniques for gathering meaningful data about your focus groups and stakeholders. Throughout the course, you’ll be introduced to real-life UX designers working in various industries, highlighting the skills needed to excel in a UX career. You’ll explore different types of user testing and the final steps of developing and releasing designs, before looking at a typical UX designer job description.
