File Backups with Duplicati (CYRUS)

This training provides hands-on experience in using Duplicati as a backup solution. Participants will learn how to install, configure and manage backups while ensuring data security through encryption and data integrity checks. The course is ideal for IT professionals, system administrators and educators looking to implement a reliable backup strategy.

Upon completion, participants will be able to install and configure Duplicati on Ubuntu, schedule automated backups, encrypt and compress data, restore files and troubleshoot common issues using both the user interface and command-line options.

The training, developed as part of the CYRUS project, is free of charge and offered as self-paced e-learning available on demand from April 2025 to October 2025 with a duration of approximately 1,5 hours.
